Infertility in females can be caused by age, premature ovarian aging, premature menopause, fallopian tubes blockages or infections, tumors in the womb, scarring from pelvic or cervical surgery, excessive mucus produced in the womb, heavy or long term use of anti-inflammatory medication, use of anti-psychotic medication, thyroid problems and cancer treatments. In addition, extreme weight levels and cigarette smoking can contribute to infertility.
The following comprehensive tests are offered at the HC Fertility Center to enable us to analyze fertility hormone levels, estimate how many eggs you are likely to have, check for normal ovulation and make sure there are no visible abnormalities in the ovaries or uterus.
